I don't really care all too much, honestly.
He did what he liked in life, and he did it nicely... And that's about as far as his accomplishments go, doesn't really deserve any more recognision than more worthy persons that work hard for the others and yet receive nothing in exchange, not even mere mention.


All the same, may he rest in peace. My words shall be those of my mother:
"I do hope he finds happyness in heaven, as it seems he was unable to find it in this world."

Wait wait, who said he didn't work hard to get so far in his career? Don't think that just because he's famous his life was easy >.>;;

Did not said he didnt work hard for himself. I just said there are many more that deserve more recognision than him and yet dont receive it.
Nothing more than that. He indeed had a hard life that he had to bear and work for, many hardships aswell... None of them deserve all that much mention, but he was undoubtly the king of pop and an innovative figure that provided changes within music.

I am a little older than some here. My "Childhood" so to speak was during the 1980s. The strongest part of his carrear was during that time into the early mid 90s. He was an extreme influence on many of our current pop artists. MJ was a "very strange person" but the allegations of what he did is just that allegations. He also gave so much of his own money to charitable orginizations and is listed in the GBOWR as one of the biggest contributers to charitable orginizations by a pop star.

You may have disliked his on screen hijinks, but if you are like me you can't help but sing along to thriller

Well this topic is about Michael Jackson, not about other people who didn't get as far as he did, I mean you say he doesn't deserve so much recognition O_o I'm sorry but how can you talk like that about a person who just left this world, and he does deserve it, his music means a lot to some people you know, "Music changes lives", and I think that what you just said is a little offensive =/ (@ Damian)

Yes, I believe it a shame 34million people attend heart-broken to the death of a "pop-king", and yet most of them when they see a notice alike to... "death of a missionary that helped fight against terrorism in X country." -per mere example- it is usual they simply go "Oh, poor him/her... I wonder what's showing on Fox right now!"

If music changes life, well then I guess we can always send Madonna to south africa and everything will be solved!... THIS ONE IS A JOKE.

I recognize he was "important", I was just stating that people's balance of importance is heartbreaking and most unfair.
My apologies if it is offensive, I just think it is. I wasn't expecting any further "enlargement" in the matter, it was my mere opinion.

hard work is not mean to deserve more

but what more important is the "result"
