10-7-2009 NEW SERVER!!

heya! i think i am ready with my special project and i hope you all
appreciate it, cause i made a RO1 server!! so now we have 2 servers running and
of course lagless. RO2 is still our top priority so that is why i will say it as
soon as i upload the new client of course (will we today or tomorrow). you
can download the server files at the download page and registering is exactly
the same as in Ragnarok2. and the last thing is that the forum button is on the
site (see last button on navigation).

It's going to take awhile to download all the componets for this ._., it's going to take me a few hours to actully download everything ._., but, i'll see if i can connect to it ._. once the download is done.

haha, well you could use the kafra teleport service? it is 1.200K for a warp to a town ^^ and for the ro2 concepts, yea the pukui sprite would be cool as a extra mob for in endless tower or something.

original rates are just..hard in ro1.

after installing -everything- from guide the game tries to start but crashes.
many error reports about missing files (bmp's and act's and spr's)..yeah i installed ragray...overwritten with data.zip..and patched with aegis..X.x.

wheeew thanks to Nikuni my problem is solved.
had to add 1=sdata.grf in the data.ini

i just downloaded Rag and Sak separately from Myrateserver, installed rag first (and update from it's client), then install sakray (update from it's client too), both clients must be up to date from main Gravity servers, then install the Data and last the aegisro1 patch.

Remember to overwrite all files when u get the prompt asking for it.(just press "yes to all"

Worked fine for me, nway Elixa tried the way of download "ragray", she said it's always up to date so you don't need to update the clients, then only install the data folder and patch.

PD: must say... i got problems updating both clients, but works without the update, be needed when i go newest areas i think so i have all the sprites.

done downloading, i need to install whilei go back to sleep.
i'll log on when im up, looks like fun.
im just hoping an adequete amount of ppl will play to make it fun.
i really enjoy ro1.. humble suggestion..nothing over the top but at least 3/3/3 rates would be super :]

I've Managed to get everything going but 1 problem, it seems that my client crashs due to resources ._. (looked at zhaines post, but, that did not help much). i'll see if i can look for another way to make it work.

Hey tenderness did you do a clean installation? or had another client installed b4? you must install all from 0 to make it work good, if it's not your case try to repeat the steps on the guide at the downloads section...

Intall clients > insert the data folder > apply the aegisro patch.. hope this works for you

i did do a clean installation ._., i finally found my problem, i put the files in seprate folders, making it unreconizable, lol. well, i got everything to work, well. it's solved now.

i got the same error, when i start it i keepgetting resource errors saying its cant access some bmps or something.
i only replaced the data folder with the new one.
because when i try to extract the whole data.zip into the ragray folder it keeps giving me like 3000 errors about .pal files

ahh, well i got the thing to work with niku's method, but when i login with my username_m and my pass. it fails to connect to server it says.
is this because our gateway server is down or is there no server info?

because i cant find anything in the folder that gives the server info for our ro1 server. and the tab that the game is running when i alt tab out is named "sakexe by diffteam"
doesnt that mean its opening sakray insted of aegisro?
im opening it using aegisro...

im just wondering though.
where is the aegisro.exe getting the server info from?
theres no bat or ini file telling it what to do..

oh also, i notice that as far as i can see everything is in korean. the login screen, the buttons, all that. i know which to press..but is everything else still in korean? i dont see a language patch in the folder
